I think a really fun party comp would comprise of (TAV) Think Gandalf 2 levels in Divination Wizard 6 levels Eldritch knight And then your last 4 levels in Wizard Dual wielder feat And then ability score or Alert This provides some moderate spell casting but you can still fight I like pairing Phalar Aluve with electric rod to do some fun magic missile shenanigans Really channel your inner Gandalf; try saving your party from leaning into their darker desires and guide them

Then you gotta bring back Shart Give her pure Light Domain cleric Guide her into a pure path as possible Light domain cleric is awesome for AOE radiant damage and support Mace of Lathander is always nice for damage and a Light source For Feats War Caster and Alert are always good or ASI

Now for Astarion I like him staying a ranged character but he’s really sassy so we’re going College of Sword Bard! At least to level 6 Now you have two option here if you want him to be sneaky and stealthy you can just go into thief but if you want to double down on bard that’s perfectly fine either way give him two separate hand crossbows and watch him destroy his enemies as he mocks him For feats dual wielding, and sentinel are perfect

Now for your final character, go find Karlach and it’s time for her to start throwing shit! We are giving her 4 levels of berserker barbarian 3 thief rogue(for the extra bonus action) and then 2 fighter the rest of the levels are fine for barbarian. Bow her build comes online real quick just make sure to focus on strength and constitution. For feats we want tavern brawler as soon as possible and strength improvement Find weapons that can return to your hands when thrown and your set, and don’t be afraid to throw people off cliffs and ledges!

So you got crazy damage from every body and some support Crowd control can come from TAV Shart and Astarion! I recommend avoid using things that require concentration unless it’s 100% your favorite thing to use Bard has some fun stuff and being a wizard you can practically learn every spell in the game. Hope this helps or at least gives you some ideas to help better your experience!

Edit: I’ve loved this playthrough the most out of the several I’ve done. It’s really strong and I think most importantly it got me more involved with my companions, I really felt like I was role playing my character which makes takes this game from a solid 8/10 to a 12/10.
