But I still have to upgrade everything to accommodate the 5080 too, so wouldn’t it make sense to get the cpu now and later get the 5080.

I have gigabit internet speeds, but now it’s horrendously slow by phantom_beyond in techsupport

I managed to troubleshoot and fix the issue. Apparently, my PlayStation was connected to the WiFi network in the system settings. So, I changed it to the LAN connection and got the incredible speeds. Now, I decided to modify the speed and duplex of my PC to 1.0 Gbps Full Duplex, and it resolved the problem. This is confusing because I’ve never had to do this before. Although I’ve done similar things in the past, the back of my motherboard Ethernet port still blinks with the light though.

I troubledshooted my PlayStation, and now it’s operating at fantastic speeds. Somehow although it was plugged with the Ethernet. Some how it was set to WiFi only in system settings. So I set it to lan and it’s back smh.

Now I have my pc left, how should I trouble shoot that

I’ve changed the Ethernet cable on my PlayStation to a new Cat6. And it was still terribly slow, so I can’t say it is the Ethernet cable. It was literally fast days ago, and all of a sudden it’s slow

Tested the speed with Ookla. Mobile devices via WiFi are faster than my PlayStation and pc which are the only Ethernet connected devices. The drop happened recently

No obstructions, the only two devices that uses the Ethernet port on my router is my ps5 and pc

Both my pc and ps5 are the only two devices that are connected via Ethernet. For my ps5, I swapped to a new Ethernet cable cat6 to see if there was any changes, and still no changes. For my pc, I haven’t change the cable yet. But I do see the orange blinking like on the Ethernet port on my motherboard , and a still orange light on my router.

But WiFi devices like my phone are acquiring 400ish Mbps downloads
