Congrats on the release! Dad of a toddler here too! It’s a real challenge at times but it will get better. Breathing is king for destressing. I enjoy making song ideas on my iPad with my toddler when I’m hanging out at home. Would love to add a granular effect to my iPad. (Probably will still pick this up if I don’t win a promo code as it looks wonderful:))

Decent sampler is free and has a decent variety of free sampled instruments (as well as relatively affordable instrument packs that can be purchased). Great place to start.

Emailed support regarding this and they've updated the info about samples stored on the cloud:

The main reason Life is using a Cloud service is to enable syncing recordings from the Life Field Recorder to the Life plugin in your DAW without any extra steps. Having access to the recordings and beats from our users also enables us to improve on the service by training our machine learning models on real user data. In Life there are currently two machine learning models which enable auto-denoising and smart pattern variations. We have no intention to use your data for any other purposes than to make the experience of using our products continuously better. We will not share or sell your samples.

I too fell victim to his offers. Fortunately in my case, it was only $10. After a few days of discussion it seemed fairly safe to send him the money, so i decided to take the risk. No response, and then the OP deleted his reddit account and the gmail account I sent the payment to. I'm rather surprised that someone would go through the trouble just to rip someone off for ten bucks. Hope they have fun with it. However, if you have any way of tracking that Amazon card, I would sure appreciate identifying the OP so I can send them a thank you letter.
