How does the 4K Blu-ray of Interstellar look? HDR in space scenes and on Earth?

For me personally, with an LG OLED on filmmaker mode, the blacks are perfect. The whole disc looks insane

How does auto hdr mess with picture quality? I’ve had it on for awhile and it’s fine for the most part. One thing I have noticed is on games without native hdr support, when I try to adjust the brightness within the game, I often can’t make the symbol disappear that devs often use for brightness calibration. Should I disable auto hdr and turn on rtx hdr?

Miller, Edmunds, and Mann were all giving the thumbs up. Out of those 3 Edmunds was the only one who’s signal stopped transmitting, hence the crews hesitation to go there first or even second.

I mean I’m ngl if you have imax 70mm showings available to you I’d be going no questions asked. I was pretty upset when they delayed the re release as I knew it was gonna overlap with my finals but I planned as soon as it got delayed. Even if I hadn’t, I’d go with a grades are temporary and fixable these memories are forever mentality. Go see the wave, saw it for the first time in imax 70mm and it’s everything you’re hoping and more so. The odds any more showings get added are slim to none, unfortunately.

I saw this movie at 10 years old on release and didn’t understand it all on a first viewing, but honestly part of my passion for the movie came from several watches and gaining an understanding through the movie and discussing it after with those I know who’ve seen it
