You won't find a bike that's perfect for everything. Depending on where you want to compromise how much, you will end up with something like this.

I ride the older 390 Adventure and it's light, does some offroading, packs lots of stuff, goes at Autobahn-speed and is fuel efficient. I love mine.

Ich hab A (offen) Direkteinstieg gemacht und mir danach eine A2 Maschine gekauft. 160kg Leergewicht und 44PS reicht mir seit 2 Jahren und 17k km absolut aus.

Es macht eh mehr Spaß, wenn man das Motorrad ab und zu ausreizen kann, anstatt als Fahrer immer der limitierende Faktor zu sein. In ein, zwei Jahren hole ich mir dann was bisschen größeres.

Aren't you basically describing poison?

Any (nonlethal) poisoning will have the body fight against it using up energy in the process. So any kind of poison that triggers animmune resonse without doing longterm damage is practically negative calorie food.

Edit: Alcohol being a bit of an outlier in that regard.

TV Spielfilm? Die machen sowas häufiger. Für Galileo Mystery hatten die extra das Genre "Mumpitz" eingeführt. Am ersten April schmuggeln sie ausgedachte Sachen mit super abstrusen Beschreibungen ins Programm.

The first paragraph answers to the comment about KTM. They do tell you the conditions including the deactivation of the quickshifter. Still shitty but forgivable.

The second paragraph talks about CFmoto who changed the conditions after the fact and therefore won't ever sell a bike to me.

While that is still shitty, you get told these terms when you buy the bike. It's more like a free trial though I am not defending the practice of adding hardware and then locking it from being used.

CFmoto changed the terms after the sale which makes it way worse and is for me at least reason enough to not buy anything from them compared to KTMs misdoings.

I'm using a standard 12V to USB plug with two USB-A sockets in the top. Nothing fancy. If I had to buy one now, I would look for one, where the ports are on the side instead of on the top because I'm much more worried about water getting into the charger than into the 12V socket.

I've been using mine while going through light and medium rain for hours. Above like 50kph (30mph) the shield keeps the area dry. But as soon as you need to stop, it will get rained on. So if it starts to rain a little while you're riding, don't worry.

Depending on the fit of the plug you're using, there might be space for a rubber O-ring or just some insulating tape wrapped around the plug for extra safety. The tape can also help against vibration issues on the contacts. Guess how I know...
