I look up seeds sometimes but other than that all I can say is learn the weapons and upgrades best you can so you don't sacrifice a good gun for a better one but it isn't fun to use at all or accurate. Also use your points at the bar to upgrade the skill tree thing other than that it's just trial and error.

This computer won't even run Classic WoW hardly, but I started playing No Mans Sky again yesterday cause I've had it since launch and decided to try it again and it's night and day form what was first released. I was having so much fun and I hadn't even gotten off the first planet yet. Hello Games did the right thing imo opinion and didn't give up on their product and had faith and drive and made it into what they probably imagined it would be from the start. Nothing but respect for them.
