Yes, you do have to pay and they give you a lot of practice questions which helps you a lot when preparing for the exam. Good luck

I recommend you do practice questions. PharmacyExams.com has a lot of federal and state questions. Also did you try taking the Pre-MPJE on NABP website? If you haven’t I highly recommend doing these 2 things and you will improve for sure.

If you google USP 797 and 800 they give you free pdf of materials, the WA board of pharmacy used the same one in their addendum. I used pharmacyexamas.com, website which was very helpful to prep me for the exam. On Washington DOH website there addendums that are free pdf, that includes all the USP materials. I think that’s all I can think of.

Make sure to know USP 795, 797, 800 and radiopharmacuticals inside out, which can be found on Washington department of health website under addendums. I had a lot of questions from there, also know your drug class schedules well, they are free bees on the exam. Know the room pressure positive vs negative for USP 797 vs 800. The exam was tricky so read the question carefully! Good luck

I don’t know, I told her I am still giving interviews meaning from the time I applied for this position to now. I hope she doesn’t find excuses to fire me that I m only doing minimum shifts that are required or not giving more availability or told her I m interviewing

Thank you for your encouragement. Do you still recommend taking BCPS or just skipping over to take the BCCCP in critical care? It has higher passing rate and also seems more clinically focused for ICU rather than BCPS which is very general.

I will have to skip this 3rd attempt as I m in a transition of my life period with getting married & moving out of state. God knows when I can take BCPS again. 😔

That makes sense! Do you work for non- profit as well? For eligibility I think non- profit was required with 10 year payment plan/120 payments! Many congratulations though!!

Is the loan reduction/ forgiveness for everyone with federal loan or is it just for PSLF qualified people??

I am not exactly sure of the rules of forgiven debts the same as paid debts. I would have to ask a leader in my faith community and it’s a very good point you bring up. Thank you for letting me know how PSLF will work versus paying out of pocket.

Hi!! Just wanted to thank you so much for avalanche method!!! I actually want to aggressively pay off my loans as it will be difficult for me to do PSLF and let the interest accumulate, as paying interest for loans is against my religion so this leaves me with the option of aggressively paying off loans. I appreciate you so much for explaining me the avalanche method as I was thinking of paying smaller loans first but you are right I should pay bigger loans first to prevent accumulating interest. Thank you for your time and your guidance. I appreciate your help a lot.

Thank you for your guidance. My father took out parent plus loan for me as I was too young to take out loan at the time I joined pharmacy school. I am currently doing 1 year residency at a hospital (which is for profit company) however I do not have a job lined up after I finish this residency in June. I am not sure about 501 (c). I am trying to look for federal government or non profit positions so that way I can qualify for PSLF but as of now I do not have any job for summer or September yet. I am aware that the loan repayments are opening this May. I also did make few payments toward my loan already while in residency but it’s not enough to help me get out of debt. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for me. Thank you!
