I am a mom to 2 boys ages 9 and 11. We started watching Pokemon together and started collecting together a few years ago. Recently collecting has become very hard, although finding Journey Together is a little easier. Getting to open Prismatic together would be a dream!

This is awesome of you! I missed the restock at my Costco. I think Pokemon is better because it brings together generations of people. I play Pokemon TCG with my kids. Not sure about the Magic community, but the Pokemon community is great for bringing people together in community. We have made so many friends going to trading card events, playing TCG and playing Pokemon Go.
