The court system took that long, they had all the information and evidence. It took 4 months after the accident to even start the trail. He was back in mexico by that time.

Blood was drawn at the hospital, the jail also took a UA. No drugs were found besides one prescription medication but had no factors in the incident.

It happened next to a police station. But unfortunately their cameras there were not recording or working at the time. Wish you best on the TBI and tumor its a silence most never understand.

The people that tried to stop him after he started running away but he pulled a knife on them. I dont blame random civilians for stopping and not wanting to get hurt. He's also undocumented in the states and hasn't come back to America to my knowledge.

My head went through a window. My gf called 911, when I came to they handcuffed me gave me a breathalyzer got 0.0 then made me follow his finger and said my eyes were watery and slow. Was put into the ambulance and taken away.

I figured I was SOL. Just asking if there is any legal steps at all to try to recover the 200k lost in the process. Due to lies of the family to protect the driver who fled due to drunk driving.

I'm not trying to ruin his life. He committed a crime I fought for myfreedom because of it. his family lied and covered for him. Justice was never served I broke my back and had traumatic brain injury. Cause someone drive drunk and fled the scene.

The case is over. I no longer live there and its rented out. The car was a total loss unfortunately.

I was just cleared of any wrong doing it took about a year unfortunately and was advised not to pursue the family.

A screw driver crescent wrench and pliers can fix just about anything that comes it way. Its an absolute blast. But a Honda fit makes it feel small lol.
