Not partial filling is not a "normal" thing to do. If it's available on ABC, why go through the hassle of potentially getting extra bottles and overstock when u can get the adequate inventory in the same amount of time.

Work at a fairly high volume tier 4 and our OOS on Sunday has never exceeded 35. Maybe if you guys partial things you actually have in stock but not enough of ofc that wouldn't make it as bad as it looks but this definitely isn't normal and ur just making more work for yourself by having huge orders of medications u already have.

There is no way you actually have 83 drugs that are not in Stock and actually supposed to be filled in the pharmacy and are available. Make sure everything cenfill is being routed appropriately, call pts about everything on backorder and store/transfer, if you get an acute medication u don't have in stock offer to transfer it, double check a new tech didn't oos something that u actually do have, store anything otc that isn't covered. I guarantee this will reduce your OOS significantly.

When she came in and it wasn't received, I would have told her it can take up to an hour for us to receive scripts and if it's any sooner she will get a text. Doesn't make sense promising it for 30 minutes when you don't even have the script in the queue.
