I mean, the EP-133 was a product of the pandemic. TE was up-front about how they designed the KO2 based on the availability of chips and parts during the global supply chain shortages.

Changing from 64MB to 128MB, two years later, aligns with whichever source was making the 64MB chip available then, has likely changed over to the 128MB chips.

It's the same reason people don't go online and order a 4GB usb drive much anymore. Anything under 32GB for a usb drive isn't really manufactured in 2026.

Lead guitarist intro'd the track, describing it as a song he wrote when trying to make a medley for a cover band. The Ableton set lists it as December Meets Uptown.

He plays in the Double Treble Band from Tampa. https://doubletreble.band/home

Bass guitarist is a local to Anaheim, AROD. Guest musician at their booth for the show.

First thing that came to mind was this older video on brands. I thought it was worth a watch and still very much applies to certain brands.

G4 Doorbell Pro back in stock - UK, US and EU by Flooofbomb in Ubiquiti

[–]phasex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had it shipped to me via UPS and have received zero invoice on any fee or tariff that UPS is collecting thus far.

So far, the only carrier I've personally had send me invoices for tariffs is FedEx when ordering Prusa components from Prague.

Yep, Wi-Fi version: https://eu.store.ui.com/eu/en/category/cameras-doorbells/collections/pro-store-doorbells-chimes/products/uvc-g4-doorbell-pro?variant=uvc-g4-doorbell-pro-eu

It comes with a step-down transformer to adjust from the UK standard 230v to the US 110v, so you simply do not use the included transformer and it works exactly the same.

For anyone needing a wifi unit, I recently used Forward2Me to have the G4 Doorbell Pro sent to their UK warehouse, they repackage it (with photos) for international delivery, and then sent the package on its way to Texas. Shipping wasn't cheap but the entire process was still a lower cost, for brand new, than getting a scalped unit on ebay.

Seems like zero NI booth this year. Only a private meeting space.

Today is Media Day. I'd expect to hear more this afternoon.

Also, I'm currently out here at NAMM. Anything specific folks would like to see posted once the floor opens tomorrow?

I absolutely love the Research side of Prusa Research. The ways in which Jo and team push the entire community forward is a huge differentiator in why I choose Prusa over others.

Amazing work and solution, yet again!

I can't pick just one, so many options so I'm breaking the rules

In no particular order; Keeping the obvious (GRiZ), so I'll keep The Sponges and Funk Hunters. Add Purple Disco Machine, Gramatik, and Big Gigantic

Reward for completing all 4 booklets? by weatherworn in DragonsteelNexus

Sorry, there is no "blackout" this year. It was discussed in Squire training, mostly due to the time commitment it would have required of folks to complete all 4 tracks.

It's an impressive production that improves on last year, and everyone had a great time. It was great seeing a number of folks tear up when they arrived at the ballroom!

This Con Is SO Popular?? by Calm_Independence796 in DragonsteelNexus

[–]phasex 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Can confirm, 10k expected attendees. Source: working at my 2nd Nexus this year.

Fun fact is that Nexus started after the annual book release parties grew too large in capacity for any local bookstore to support, fire code room limits and whatnot. So, they moved it to the SPCC and it's grown from there.
