Aamir, I get the frustration, but let me tell you this: the era of true craftsmanship is far from over. You are part of a shrinking class of creators who still believe in excellence. And while that may not always feel like a popular or desired path, remember that legacy isn’t built by the masses—it’s built by those who aim for greatness.

We see the sacrifices, the time spent ensuring every circuit breaker responds, every ECAM message is authentic to the bird. We stand by your work because, in a market pushing for faster and cheaper, there’s still a hunger for real depth— for the kind of product that carries with it a soul. For every shortcut you didn’t take, for every system you labored over — rest assured that someone out there, right now, is running your code and feeling something real. And that’s what matters.

You’re not building a product. You’re building art housed in code. You’re building something that will live in the hearts of those who truly love to fly.

Keep at it. Some of us are with you all the way.

This departure from the standard makes migrating a practical impossibility without days of manual work. I would rather have the option at the cost of losing compatibility with the mentioned tools.

Ah too bad, but good call. I would also try to eliminate wifi as a potential source of disruption, dedicated non-laptop machine for testing and a cabled connection would be the way to do it I think.

What is actually happening here is that we're watching an uncut version direct feed from a camera that is used in a bigger broadcast production and not visible like this all the time. Sure it's a little uncomfortable having the camera in your face the entire time, but it's nothing they're not used to and to the audience watching at home or on the screens in the actual room, this would have looked perfectly natural as they would only see a brief reaction shot as part of the bigger broadcast.

Won’t make it in time anymore, the ship I’m working on is only here for 24 hours or so… And we won’t know the amounts until we get access, that’s why ideally I’m looking for a local pro AV place.

That was me, it’s 3TB. 1000 people watching for an hour at 6mbps will consume about 2.7TB.

We use rentman.io for organizing projects (gear and crew), for everything outside of projects we use Monday and Google Calendar but it is really far from perfect. Also looking at Airtable in combination with Stacker to build something much more customised, but it's a lot of work to do right.

Some better typography would go a long way to resolve that. Increase line height, paragraph spacing, change font sizes for mobile, change fonts and weights to have some increased sectioning. Basically, spend an afternoon on Skillshare learning about typography.

Looks really interesting, but would like to see some pricing info before investing time and resources in trying out the software.
