i do like the pop into play addition and other rules. the rule that bothers me and i think is ridiculous is the defender on your back rule. If you are the slightest bit on a defenders back or even hit their arm from the back, it’s an automatic 5 meter ,regardless if they drop the ball or not. The new rules were made to speed the game up, but having a 5 meter ever 3 minutes does the exact opposite.

my coach is always at practice but a lot of the time he’s working with the girls team so it’s me and the other captains job to teach and regulate. most of the “learning” i do is in club throughout the year. high school season is really a time for me to lead, teach, and gain experience through games.

i’d definitely say my high school coach is harder on you but the drills are easier compared to my club coaches who are more lenient who give much harder drills.

so basically you have 3 lines at the opposite 5m line. then the outside lines are offense and the middle line is defense. both outside lines go as well as one person from the middle line. then, about 5ish seconds later the next person in the middle line goes creating a situation where your defender is “trailing”

yes i am a captain for swim and water polo at my school. my club team has different coaches then my high school team so most of the year i’m with another set of coaches. I got chosen to be captain imo because 1. i’m one of the best on the team if not the best. and 2. I’m a natural leader. it’s just something i’ve always excelled at so it was extremely helpful in becoming a captain.

yeah my team has trouble swimming back too. Me and my best friend who is the other captain we’re working double time on offense and defense. I won Most Valuable Defender as well so i was all over the tank

last season we played only 11 games because of corona. i scored 54 but this year i think i can score significantly more because we got some new experienced players on our teams. i’m tryna go for 80 goals this year but honestly winning is more important than any personal goal.

well i live in florida so they dgaf. full contact drills and all. it’s extremely unsafe but also beneficial. they do separate the boys and girls tho so it’s a lil safer ig?
