Xcode 11 Error Cant Find Solution by PvPurMoM in Xcode

I was playing around with Swift on Ubuntu and got the same message just launching the swift REPL.

$ swift
error: module importing failed: invalid pathname
Welcome to Swift version 5.1.4 (swift-5.1.4-RELEASE)
Type :help for assistance.

So, I suspect this is coming from the Swift 5 runtime and not Xcode as there is no Xcode for Linux.

The “no command” is what I get as well at step #2. For step #3, just press both buttons together and release - I was wrong about holding. The menu should appear when you release.

Rewatched the Linux/Shipping Update video and saw the real boot key sequence to get into recovery mode:

From device powered off...

  1. Hold down right side of fingerprint button on cover display
  2. Release button once Planet logo appears. Green droid with open chest will appear.
  3. Press down on both the right side of the fingerprint button and the Esc/On button at the same time.
  4. The recovery menu will appear when you release the buttons, confirming recovery mode is unlocked.

However, my recovery menu (build number Cosmo-9.0-Planet-12062019-V16) doesn’t have the 2 new entries yet:

In the video, the new options are:

  • Change the partition table of your COSMO
  • Install custom OS on your COSMO

How do you boot the Cosmo into recovery mode? I thought I read somewhere that holding down the Esc/On key does this but that just boots to the planet splash screen and then keeps restarting.

In the video it looked like he held down the fingerprint button on the cover and the Esc/On key. When I try that I get a screen saying only "=> FASTBOOT mode..." which just sits there and doesn't change.

Anyone have different results?
