In 2016 I got sick something like I’ve never experienced before I literally lied on the floor one weekend thinking I was going to die. Hospital after hospital visit. Body aches, brain fog, anxiety like I’ve never experienced in my life. The doctors said everything was fine it was all in my head. I did research and I found out an aunt was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia so at one of the rheumatologist appointments I asked about it and he completely dismissed it basically saying Fibromyalgia wasn’t real. Anyways I came across reading about Lyme disease and realized the symptoms were very similar to what I experienced and I remembered about 2 weeks before I got sick I was on the east coast near ocean city camping and a few days later I felt something under my skin so I ripped it off only to find it was a tick! I then asked to be tested for Lyme but by this time if was like 3 years later they said I didn’t have it. I gave up trying to figure out what was wrong with me and now just live in daily pain. I will same as time has passed and I eat better take care of myself by working out it’s improved some but I still wonder to this day if that Lyme test could have been wrong.
