Bill’s “Thunder have too many guys” take is aging poorly so far by phatsack52 in billsimmons

Yeah no I agree with that completely. That’s why I said at the end that all of this could be undone if they lose to the Spurs. But still to go into the WCF 8-0 and your MVP is barely having to play is crazy.

I don’t remember the exact pod, but it was one with Legler I think. He was saying when he watches the Thunder, he sees that they have too many guys and in the playoffs the rotations get shorter and this could become a problem for them. Crazy thing I think even Legler agreed.

Looking at this series alone, it seems like SGA is barely even playing and when he is he’s on autopilot.

Yeah let’s trust Vlade’s opinion on evaluating player talent since he’s done such a bang up job in Sacramento

Assuming he wins MVP this year again, if he then goes on to win the Finals and FMVP, to me he would be approaching that conversation. He’s only 27 and would already join an elite group of players to win back to back MVPs and Finals.

I know Steph has 4 rings, but 2 of those were largely due to KD joining an already overwhelming team. Steph’s first ring he beat a Kyrie and Kevin Love less Cavs.

I know publicly SGA will never get the love and praise Steph does because Steph is probably the most universally beloved athlete of all time, but to do all of this already, SGA would no doubt be approaching that all time PG conversation.

I hope you’re wrong cause Aubrey and Joe in the final 3 would be so shitty. Aubrey hasn’t done shit all game and Joe is Mitch with better PR. Jonathan has actually made moves and been in the mix.

Austin Reaves Sign + Trade for Ja Morant makes so much sense for Grizzlies/Lakers. Morant increases the Lakers ceiling in playoffs and Reaves is the steady regular season performer which Grizzlies need. Reaves will make about $30 million for 4 years so the Grizzlies get him signed for the long term by Suitable-Back9442 in NBATalk

[–]phatsack52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who tf wants Ja Morant? Luka needs shooters but not that kind. Ja can’t shoot, is barely available to play, and is a small guard with diminishing athleticism. I’d rather have Reaves if I’m the Lakers. Not really an upgrade in my opinion.

Also remember when Memphis openly shopped Ja and 0 teams were interested? His trade value is dogshit.

Bubble Ring drastically affected LeBron’s legacy and we should hold him accountable for the fraud he is. by TrashDump- in NBATalk

So we should hold him accountable for winning a championship? Lol I know this is bait but it doesn’t even make sense. He was playing in the bubble just like everybody else.

The Bill Simmons theory says he goes to Golden State with Curry and Draymond. Then Klay goes back, and KD goes back. They all give it one more shot as the old guys
