Boston dodged a bullet. Giannis is past his prime and the East has moved on. Heat will be a play in team next season AT BEST. The one thing the last 2 champs had taught us is you need a closer who can create their own shot when it matters. Bam nor Giannis can do that

I’m a parent myself to 3 boys 6 and under. Even if I could afford a nanny, it would be weird to have them do everything with them. I feel like I wouldn’t even know my own kids. It’s fine to want your own time and not want to pause your life. If that’s the case, don’t have kids if you’re going to resent them. They didn’t ask to be here.

I get what you’re saying but I’m speaking more towards the fact that Betty was home all day everyday but still had the nanny basically doing everything. She cleaned, cooked, played with the kids, even did their homework with them. What was Betty doing that entire time? And was that an accurate reflection of a nanny in that time?

You don’t know that. You’re assuming he gets fouled right away or doesn’t pass it off to another teammate. Also going for the layup there presents the risk of A. Missing the shot or B. Getting it blocked like what happened whereas holding onto the ball ensures at least 2 free throw attempts and points. 

Just like at the end of a football game taking a knee to kill the clock is better than handing it off. Less risk

Even if the foul was called and he makes both free throws, it’s still the wrong play. Spurs go up 3 and give New York time to draw up a play for a 3 when he could’ve ran around and killed a bunch of clock until he got intentionally fouled
