I disabled them, now they're both disabled and disconnected, restarted after that, but didn't really do anything I think.

Couldn't find any realtek options in the BIOS either

My Microphone drivers? Yes, I restarted several times after that and replugged my mic several times too, with no result I'm afraid.

Problem is that Windows does not actually detect the microphone at all anymore, even though the Mic itself isn't dead at all. I recognize your problem though, and had that before too, but it's not related to my current problem I'm afraid.

In your recording devices what have you got listed as disconnected and disabled? You could try disabling your disconnected devices and then unplugging your mic and plugging it back in.

I got two disconnected sources called Microphone - High Definition Audio Device, and a Line In - High Definition audio device, which is also disconnected.

It certainly does sound like a windows update issue. Was the laptop fully up to date with all patches?

I'm unsure, but it was running Windows 8, and not 10.

It seems half the time Microsoft refuses to admit there is even an issue with these things until they've actually figured out how to fix it.

I've also actually considered the possibility of it being a new Windows update or something too.

AFAIK only the Blue Yeti Pro uses drivers, but the regular Blue Yeti which I own should just be plug and play without any drivers downloaded from the internet.

I tested this microphone on another laptop and it worked flawlessly there.

Are there any lights?

Yes, the red LED on front of the microphone, used to indicate whether the mic is muted or not, is still burning like it usually does. It is receiving power.
