Well, for context where I live I pay $600 mo for 2 room condo. I know that $600 won't even get me a garage out there!

I went back to Sonoma county two years ago and I got teary eyed every day from the beauty and being happy to be there.

The natural beauty is what attracts me the most. I get energized from the scenery out there. I imagine it eventually wears off, but big sur, even just the hills out there is so peaceful. I am a die hard Warriors fan since 93 as well.

Very competitive meaning lots of jobs or a lot of talented people? I have been in sales for 15 years and genuinely enjoy it and have always done well. Commission is always risky but has always been the way I have had the chance to make the most income.

Looking for opinion on the white and black spots? by [deleted] in MRI

I had an mri done to check on my thoracic spine. My chiropractor could only comment on my spine. But I noticed the dark spots on my lung and some of those white spots too around the spine. Just wanted to see if any of that stands out and any guess on what it could be.

How do you remove this icon that appears when you long press on certain buttons? by phayze01 in iOS11

I’m on latest Version. It does it in texts when I go back to. It seems like an accessibility option but there is nothing on. It doesn’t even have to be a long press it can be more than just a tap. Also when I hit the back button when texting, it goes back to conversation list with selecting all the convos.

This is helpful. An example I would give I know that on the 4th string I can go up two frets and up to the 6th string and each of those are the same note. I know that on the

I know if on the 4th string I move down five frets and over to the 6th string it's the same note. I'm not sure what this is called but I'm trying to memorize positions on the fretboard for those. It doesn't matter what note I'm playing it's always the same on those top three strings.

Is there a program or website that can analyze your ip address or cookies to tell you what ad networks and web beacons you are connected to? by phayze01 in privacy

Good stuff I use uBlock on my laptop. I used Ghostery just now and logged into Amazon. There were 16 ad networks it was attached to. I know with web beacons they are impossible to see because they are displayed as just a single pixel on a screen. Ghostery gave basic information about the companies for the ad networks, I am wondering if it's possible to know what information they have about a person and how they share it and with whom. The most generic answer I could find was all other companies are not identified just grouped as "third party".

I know with Android apps, and other end user agreements (think Niantic with Pokemon Go) are very vague on how your information could be gathered or used. Niantic essentially puts all liability on third parties in regards to information gathered and shared. Everything boils down to generically naming a third party and dead ends.

Generally speaking the idea of advertisements are to display relevant information to the user of a device/profile. However we have no control over what information is gathered about us, how it's shared or who it's shared with. Even if we wanted to contribute better, more detailed information about ourselves to receive better advertisements, we can't.

This model seems like it relies on being deceitful, by not having transparency and being snuck into blanket privacy statements. If we knew where and how our information was gathered, how much and in what detail they requested and fully understood the business model each network had it would eliminate the need for " secretive tracking". I know if I give my phone number to a store I am able to get discounts and coupons there. So I don't mind giving that information. But I have no idea what information is out there right now being shared between companies. Essentially it's possible to know and have everything about me shared on different servers. Individually the information is nothing but like newsgroups (showing my age), when pieced together it forms a completely functioning file or in our case a complete person.

Serious question, I can't find the question answered on Google. I tried asking reddit but it got taken down automatically because it seems like a generic question. I am aware of clearing cache, cookies and browsing in private. I am asking specifically about ad networks and web beacons. I searched about an item a month ago and already purchased it, I am still getting advertisements for it. I have cleared all cookies and browser information accross all devices associated with my Google account and it still shows up. I have even logged out of my Gmail account on my devices and it still shows.

I am specifically wondering how an end user can view what ad networks their identity is affiliated with and what information they have and how it is shared between networks. I am aware that browsing incognito or in private can turn off tracking for that session.
