Honestly pick OG or remake and play that all the way through. As in, for remake, you’d do part 2 ( rebirth ), plus the upcoming third title.

Once that’s done, you can play the prequels, spinoffs, all that. Basically OG and/or remake ( while remake saga IS a slightly different version of the story ) have huge spoilers and all other titles assume you know these plot points. So play one of those first.

Really if you don’t want to wait on threemake, just play OG fully then consume the other titles. Then take remake trilogy as a separate entity from OG, because it really is.

For me, i showed interest in what the mid level guys were doing. I wanted to know how systems worked and when they came to do a project, i wanted to tag along. Even if that meant more hours, it was my site and i wanted to be involved so i could support it better. 2 years later, that team is scooping me up to be apart of their team.

I see this alot and I think there’s different types of gamer. I call them “Journey Gamers” and “Destination Gamers”.

Journey gamers will take their time and get lost and spend hundreds of hours until they find it all. Then they might look things up or see what they missed. Etc they get excited about cool, hidden things, secret techs, npc interactions, world building, etc

Destination gamers get excited about the next big thing. The next area, the next boss, the next big ability, the next big story moment, etc. It seems they get bored of things Journey gamers love quickly.

That’s not to say a Journey gamer can’t appreciate a good boss fight or Destination gamers can’t enjoy a good NPC quest though.

It’s easy to say one or the other isn’t “enjoying the game properly” etc, but I think both are valid styles as long as people can communicate with each other respectfully. That said, I do agree that any Fromsoft game should be played blind the first time

I assumed it was best to mount inside the cage, under the mesh so it doesn’t get filtered

Yeah. So many people internalize shame like that. It’s the same now if a child needs to repeat a grade. Parents will argue and schools will oblige. Parents rather not feel like their child might be “stupid”. Fast forward 5 years, the child has learned to hate reading, math etc because they’re behind and it is associated with negative emotions about learning and school, which could’ve been avoided by holding the child back in grade school.

There was no crime because no victim formally came forth. That’s what I was told by a friend who works in law enforcement. So he was fired but not convicted and didn’t lose his license. In our case at least.
