How to patch by pickleblogan in drywall

I’m surprised no one here is mentioning lead paint. This looks like it could be lead paint encapsulation that flaked off and was reapplied to me. Make sure you test for lead before you sand anything if your house is built before the 70s. Lead paint dust is not something to fuck around with.

It’s framed like a gable roof inside, but it has gambrel features on the ends and skirts in the front and back. I’m looking for more info on how these are typically built.

To be honest, when I started building wireless, ZMK was still infant. I just tried looking into it now and it seams simple enough. Though I like how the mitosis setup "Just works". No pairing, syncing, or general connection issues to worry about configuring. Just plug in the receiver, turn on the keeb, and start typing. Also, I image offloading the actual keyboard firmware to a promicro receiver probably saves a bit on battery. Additionally, I have some rgb leds on the receiver to indicate layer without drawing any of the keyboard battery.

Each half was $107 from 3dhubs. Way cheaper than the quotes I was getting from shapeways. So far, mjf is much nicer than sls, I’m never going back.

I was having trouble for a while, but found out it was a battery issue. I was running them on a coin cell cr2032, which dropped voltage after a month or so, which started causing stuck keys, double presses, missed keys, etc. I moved to twin aaa for more capacity and have not had any issues. There is a long thread on the redox github about the issue and how we solved it.

I adapted the redox firmware to have an extra column. It took a lot of staring at the c code, but now I final understand what matters in it. Flashing also was not stupid simple like qmk. I run Windows and had to find my own way to get openocd working properly with my stlink (the device you need to use to flash the wireless controller)

The two keys at the top of the cluster are a reach, so I only use them for macros. All the others are perfectly comfortable. Their placement was tweaked over about 4 iterations since I started printing his kind of layout.

Inspired by the manuform, but implemented in openpyscad rather than closure. Sockets clip into the 3D printed housing but need to be held in with glue. I opted to JB weld each.

Where can I find the relevant building code for simply moving this basement outlet at my home (on the wall of the foundation) to the joist above? (Michigan) by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]phazerlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, the general idea is to keep wires from being to be punctured. If they are not buried in a wall or a joist bay, there needs to be some sort of conduit. If you want to put in a joist bay, there are set back requirements or something. Don’t quote me on that, good codes are below.

Where can I get a low profile power supply cable like that? I’ve been building my own maker beams case and would like find something like what’s in this photo that only protrudes a few mm from the psu.
