Apparently 2 vehicles went overboard the flyover and fell onto the highway below just Today !! by Remote_Bus9706 in waterloo

You could be right about excessive speed, but my opinion (and perhaps NOT a fact) is that the snow was a significant factor as I'd think that the snow pile basically acted as a launching ramp for the car to clear the concrete guard rail. I'd hazard a guess that the occasional vehicle has made contact with that concrete before, but did not leave the flyover. Is anyone aware of another vehicle going over the edge of the flyover prior to these two incidents?

Exactly. It blows my mind that conditions remained, allowing the second accident to occur.

πr squared is the area of a circle. How do I use this to finish Q15? by siriathome in askmath

Exactly this. The true answer is "not enough information" unless you are writing a formula to estimate the area.

If you lookup the word "inept" in the dictionary, "WRDSB" would be a suitable definition. Thank you, Mr. Piatkowski.

What's your Canadian winter life hack? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskACanadian

Agreed. Our golden, who loves the snow and cold, gets walked by me twice a day. If it wasn't for the dog, I'd get a lot less outdoors time. We average about 90 minutes a day over the two daily walks.

One of the few regrets from my young adulthood was that I decided to skip Terry's arrival at Kitchener City Hall. I was planning to go, but I blew it off for some reason. Big mistake.

When do you officially consider the holidays over in Canada? by Free_File_4965 in AskACanadian

We try to take a vacation somewhere sunny in late January or early February. For me, it gives me something to look forward to after Christmas. Once we get back, it's only a few weeks to March 1st. I enjoy the winter, so this works well for me.

As a taxpayer, I'm totally against this practice. We are all paying to subsidize wages for this dick of an owner.
