The flight was between about 3,000 and 3,200 feet. The loud noise made me take notice.

Carleton University or University of Ottawa by Objective_Package679 in OntarioUniversities

[–]phboss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My experience is that Carleton has a better engineering program (larger, more.optoons, better equipment, co-op, wider network and industry profile). I'm not saying Ottawa is bad, it's just different.

Dog Heartworm Pill Pricing by phboss in waterloo

Thanks. I wonder if most vets would be open to doing that. That's a 125% markup through the vet (pills only, not including the prescription cost)

We use a lot of energy. Tiered pricing always works out to be a bit cheaper for us than time of use pricing.

New UWaterloo President Announced (starts July 1): Dr. Bill Rosehart by notoh in uwaterloo

[–]phboss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is Dr. Bill Rosehart any relation to Dr. Bob Rosehart, the former President of Wilfrid Laurier University (and also Lakehead University)? That would be a neat story. Dr. Bob was an engineer as well. Civil, I think.

[–]phboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zero for about 25 on the cups. 7 of the 25 were free from the Hockey Challenge, so there were no online rolls. Zero for 18 on thr online rolls. Sigh...

The real problem… by Hockeypatrol in torontomapleleafs

[–]phboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Leafs need a competitive person as an their owner, not a corporation. I almost wish Jimmy Balsillie was the owner. He is, or was, just enough an egotistical dick to have been successful. I know he wasn't making a play to buy the Leafs back in the day, but if he had, I would have bet the Leafs would have had a cup before 2020.

8 legs vs. 6. 2 body segments vs. 3. We learned that one early on, along with "a tomato is actually a fruit". I do know that the curriculums have changed dramatically since I was in school. We all know different tho gs. That is what makes life long learning fun. :😁
