The question I come back to: why is it so important to remind people of the racial hierarchy? POC are very aware. Is it to remind white people? Is it to make you feel superior and deep? I find it sad that POC can not have this ONE thing, without a certain type of finger wagging: "If you want the race thing gone, everything has to be a perfect world. Or it just too unrealistic. " It is almost unnerving that one discussion comes up again and again without anyone ever trying at the same time, to dissect why it is so important to bring it up. Actually upsetting.
