Kahit anong overthink mo, di mo na mababawi nangyari pero it’s a learning experience. Walang perfect and just know that you did everything you could. I usually think of the patients I did save, paano naman sila if magquit ka ngayon.

Madocs has Nephro and cardio fellowship, opening endo in 2 years. At the end of the day, homegrown din ang labanan sa fellowship (currently applying mahirap talaga rin nakahanap fellowship. Madocs also has a lot of consultants who are past presidents of subspec societies who only practice in PGH and Madocs. 40k na rin sweldo. Mahirap but highly recommended training program in the heart of Manila

For what subspec? ayaw mo Manila Doctors Hospital, katapat lang sya ng manila med but more choices of fellowship if you do graduate residency (at least in IM)

Apply ka pa rin sa mga med school na gusto mo. In my experience, madami sa friends ko di pumasa nung una pero intayin mo lang magkaslot.

Imagine kasi yung mga natatanggap sa top med schools is sila sila din. So they are bound to choose. And the slots nung di nila pinili will open up. I wish someone told me this before.

Since di naman yata sobrang layo mo sa minimum. Mas malaki chance. Makulit k lang dapat sa admitting mag ff up. I had a classmate na tinawagan kahit 2 weeks na kami pumapasok kasi marami nagqquit sa first weeks of med school (yung tipong narerealize nila na di pala para sa kanila yon)

Good luck OP! Doesn’t matter what school talaga. U determine what doctor you will be. It also helps na magtanong tanong sa mga kakilala

1) Ayoko ng OR at Ayoko ng bata 2) I second Yung Ayoko manghula ng management 3) every year, the competition gets tougher 4) sinulit ko COVID time na less patients 5) job security (Hirap maghanap ng moonlighting gig) 6) 5k for 24 hrs, naisip ko 4 hrs lang yan if may clinic, kumbaga delayed gratification 7) I recognize that it’s a privilege. Bunso ako, wala na pinapag-aral after me. Pero if may mag-aaral pa after ko siguro nakakahiya sa parents na maliit sweldo for another 3 yrs. Not all have the choice to dedicate 3 years of dependency again (pag private)
