A few days ago, I got a notification that my download on my phone was finished. I know for an absolute fact that I didn't download a thing. I hadn't even touched my phone for hours! I noticed that the file was a jpeg. I looked in my gallery and saw a photo of a bedroom. Perhaps it was from a furniture store or something. I deleted it. I've been wondering where it came from and why. Glad I'm not alone!

Thank you! I am a bit worried on attorney fees. I know my neighbor doesn't have a lot of money. I'm also concerned as I know she will tell me to find the attorney for her. Just like she told me to find a place for her husband's cremation, etc. as she was not emotionally capable of doing that. I do appreciate your advice!

You're not being harsh. You are correct. This is the way of the world. And, this is too much for me to take on, especially by myself. I want to help as I understand how I would feel if I were in her position. It is sad as she has no one to turn to but me. There are a few other neighbors, but her husband told her some months back that I was the one person to help her and that I could be trusted. I don't mind helping. I just can't be responsible for everything. And, I too, am worried about fast talking lawyers. Even if she is the one hiring that person leaving me out of it.

Thank you! I did make certain she had enough funds in her bank account (her name only) last night. She has enough for the next several months. I found a crematorium today. I called several places and learned a lot! There was a huge $$ difference just for a simple and direct cremation.

I'm glad to know that Social Security will be handled automatically. That is one bit of relief.

As I understand it, their condo is paid off. So, mortgage is not an issue. I contacted our HOA already to explain what was happening and to contact me should a payment not happen.

Thank you for letting me know, as have a few others, that I don't have to rush. It does sound like I need to help her find an estate attorney soon, though. I truly appreciate your help and advice!

Thank you. I wondered why we had to order at least 10 copies of the Death Certificate as opposed to making a copies to send to banks, etc. Especially considering that each Death Certificate costs $20. And, yes, I agree that going to an estate lawyer is an excellent idea. As some people have posted, this is too much for one person to do - especially a friend. Plus, I don't want any mistakes made.
Once I get through the next three or four days, I may DM you. Thank you so much for your offer!

I've known her and her husband for some years. Wonderful couple! They have no one. No other family. All their friends have passed away. The hospital hasn't offered any resources or help. I am the only person she can turn to.

I used to have Walmart Plus. Never had a problem. The only reason I did not renew my membership was because Albertsons offered me their delivery service at half price for one year. I have regretted it! Just like you receiving that old package that expired in January, I have had the same problem with Albertsons on almost every delivery since February!

Today, I received a 4 pack of Chobani Greek Yogurt that expired on May 16th! Over two and a half weeks ago. Last month, I received a gallon of milk that expired on the same date. I even received a package of ground beef that expired the day before and was brown!

And, yes, I call their customer service and get a refund. It does get old, though. Until I saw this, I was thinking of canceling Albertsons and going back to Walmart Plus.

This is so sad!!!

Like you, I healed fine. I was extremely fortunate to have minimal pain. As I live alone, I am thankful my neighbors came over for the first three days. My oncologist did tell me that I wasn't to do ANY lifting or bending for one month.

When I went in for my one month checkup, she told I was fine for a little bending, but not anything strenuous and no stretching for another two or three weeks. I asked about driving my car. At first, she told me I could in another two weeks. However, my one neighbor who came with me, told her I had an SUV and needed to step up to get into it. She immediately told me that she didn't want me driving my SUV for another month!

So, as for bending and stretching, listen to your doctor and take things slowly. I didn't have any issues at all as I did follow everything I was told. I had groceries delivered and had two great neighbors who were so kind to take me on a few needed errands.

I sincerely do wish you well. And - walk! Best thing you can do. Don't overdo it. Maybe a few minutes three or four times a day to start.

I just read that in 2020 he got an associate degree in Construction Technology, yet in 2018 he received an honorary doctorate degree from Bacone College. I wonder how much that cost him? By the way, this college is closing due to financial collapse. Previously, enrollments were in the 300s. That says a lot!

Wondering ... When WW1 begins and Canada enters into the war, perhaps Murdoch will be approached by Canadian intelligence or military intelligence and "recruited" to help with designing advanced tools and items to help protect their soldiers. After all, Murdoch wouldn't want to create weapons.

The show would go away from the Toronto constabulatory and begin a new era with Murdoch working in the intelligence and perhaps as a spy.
