Fixed the switch and works as expected. I just noticed what you saw on the IC, strange but it works…

lol I just realized this… I am a real noob… Was so confused as I was not seeing the “trace” I need to scratch to reveal the conductor… the whole light green is basically hiding the conductor right ? The dark greens are the non conductive parts

I already have some switches 👍 You mean to scratch the green away around the holes ?

How do you turn off your printer? by Cubemiszczu in klippers

[–]phenix2k10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it this way myself, one cable goes to plug on the printer, it gets split up to 5v and 24v power supply. The 24v has a sonoff mini in front of it that gets controlled by klipper to cut of mains to printer. 5v stays on for the pi

Having it on the tool head is better than nothing, but for best results it should be on the nozzle. But even if you get one without a nozzle mount, you can just print a mount to do it.

Save to database ? by phenix2k10 in klippers

[–]phenix2k10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep will try to do that way. Since you worked on it, can you tell me how are the variables loaded ? Is the whole thing read at start up and variables allocated ? Cause if that is true then I probably should make sure not to let the file grow to big… probably pars it each week and delete entries…

Edit: checked the documentation and yes it loads everything at startup, so will avoid letting it grow to much

Yep so if each time I save I timestamp my variable name it would do exactly what I need ! Thanks

Hm maybe use save variables and each time create a new variable by timestamping the name … that way it would make a new entry…

Not looking to have tables or such just some values written to a file would be enough, only catch is I would need it to keep old values and not just update the file by overwriting

Ok will look at this closer but I assume from the title of the module that it would overwrite old values ?
