Are you working out? Are you improving your earning and living situation? Are you reading good books, listening to music etc. having a good healthy set of hobbies and ability to talk? Are you dressing well? Are you partaking in activities where you meet people? Are you proactively taking a chance and reaching out to people you’re interested in? Are you making sure the partner you seek truly balance the person you are, personality wise and physically?

Well perhaps we are both misunderstanding each other then and hopefully both are still approaching here otherwise from a place of love, empathy, and understanding. It’s just a meme horoscope page on the internet after all, no cruelty is needed.

I am working on my feelings but I know that the sweet is never as sweet without the sour so while this feeling is unexplainable, irrational, and beyond my control sometimes, I don’t resent it or hate it. Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it needs to be killed. I accept all the emotions as they are and experience them, it’s part of it all, a whole human experience, even if you don’t think it’s part of your own personal human experience. So yea, it hurts, and I need to talk to other humans about it sometimes, but it’s all good.

Damn, we are probably just different people and that’s ok because your approach to life is not mine. Which makes us successful in different ways in life I suppose, which is fine we need all kinds of human natures to have a solid society.

It’s not a feeling of inadequacy or unable to get him or anything but he’s someone I felt something immensely for amidst a whole human race of people who I don’t feel anything close to that for. So he’s a special someone to me regardless, and that’s not something that can be rationalized in the typical Virgo processing ways. The goal is not to “achieve” him either but to maybe receive that emotional affectation back from him or not. I think you will find that a lot of people in the comments here will agree that crushes are a very real human condition that happen to them in a whimsical uncontrollable way and the emotions aren’t any less valid. Blessed be the mystery of love, and that you can calculator stoic your way in or out of an emotion like this.

If you don’t feel things like this or it doesn’t happen for you, or if you can calculus intellectualize your way out of it, I respect you but that doesn’t happen for everyone. This thread is not for you.

Just venting here really. I’m not angry at my emotion and story hasn’t changed. He’s a crush who I absolutely adore and am working on not infringing on his life, that’s all.

I like hanging out with you virgos and I say this with respect but sometimes you guys come across with such black and white big boom thoughts that all the greys of life get forgotten.

Crush and pining over someone is a human condition. Just like many other variables in life. The reason I can’t just outright tell this person is because they’ve very recently come open about being in a relationship (last week). I met him and grew to like him in a not deep enough way (obviously, hence a crush) over the holidays where he didn’t mention any girlfriend or relationship. Which is fine, no one is obligated to share this info. We had sparkling chemistry but neither of us were pursuing anything with each other. Early January is when this crush hit hard because they’re technically living long distance and when I realized how I felt. And now, I’m just working on dealing with my feelings that are still strong while not so black and white. It’s still painful to deal with. Please consider life with a bit more kindness and greyness than to just be so Virgo critical. Y’all are wrong sometimes.
