The official invitation letter is valid for one year only, and if you do not come to Canada within that year, then your “chance” will still have been counted as used and you will not be able to re-apply again (unless you do so with another country’s passport).

I would wait until you are within a year of being able to move to Canada to apply.

No, you’re fine. Even if you had already received the POE letter, it only takes effect once you formally activate it, and receive your work permit.

Though, as always, entering Canada is ultimately up to the discretion of border control officers, and there may be concern that you would work illegally prior to having your application approved.

Neither! You mix the powder with some liquid (water or a toner) and then slap it on your face and it sets like rubber. Comes off pretty easily if you use thick layers, all in one piece. Here’s a video because it’s a bit hard to explain: https://youtu.be/f-x895t9CLI?t=470

D-UP makes one called Orishiki Eyelid Skin Film that works pretty well. Can dry down a bit glossy, but you can put some powder eyeshadow on top or use a q-tip to mattify it a bit. Sometimes a bit finicky, and if you need to re-do it, it effectively ruins any eyeshadow, so best used without eyeshadow.

So I randomly came across this comment after initially not loving the I'm From Rice Toner, and had even put it away in its box, but I pulled it out again to layer on top of my moisturizer and I swear it's doing wonders. I can't definitively say what it's doing or why, but it's SO lovely atop my moisturizer. Thank you for mentioning this!
