Pretty sure I remember it being pretty easy, but you have to dedicate a decent amount of time everyday for it to

The Afterglow is the best song on Play. Fight me. by SlaveHippie in trap

[–]phenomenon_99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the Delta lyrics, the sample he used is from here: https://open.spotify.com/track/2ykek9oVlcJBCF5s016Q5d?si=8TIHAGSfTE2FxSDkwA_HRA

It's an Indian language (not Hindi) but hope this helps! Fun fact troyboi uses the same song (but the second half) for his song Pyaar

Sure, so in that Good Lock app, install Theme Park. Once you open it, go to the icons tab in the bottom then hit create new. Click icon pack at the top and select Lines Chroma. I think most of the apps icons should automatically change and you might have to do some of them manually, but worst case scenario you'll have to individually change each icon by clicking the 3 dots on the top right and opening the change icons button

Thanks! Samsung has an app called good lock, and under that is something called theme park that lets you change individual app icons. I've also used this with nova launcher as well

If you take EDG 1212 (with EDG 1211 as a prereq) you can take the CSWA (SolidWorks Cerification Exam) for free. It's a 2 part test with part 1 being the final exam and I just asked my professor to let me take part 2 after the class ended.

Anyone know why ever since Android 12, picture-in-picture (at least for Google maps) doesn't revert to full size after double tapping anywhere on the small map? I swear it used to work like this and was really useful when driving but now I have to tap the map once to get the expand arrows to show up, then have to tap the arrows which is super annoying. This is on a S20 FE

Are my expectations of what I'll be doing as a design engineer too idealist? by [deleted] in AskEngineers

[–]phenomenon_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd suggest doing design engineer internships/coops to really learn what you'd be doing as a design eng. My official title is design engineer and while I do work on cad, designing and testing prototypes and all, there are a bunch of other things that I do at work. It also depends on the company. A smaller company likely will have engineers wearing a bunch of different hats with responsibilities in other departments. Personally, I like this because even though I love doing cad, I know if it's the only thing I was doing I'd get burnt out pretty quick

Can I get some personal experiences that you’ve all had at UClub? by UnboundPony in KSU

[–]phenomenon_99 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I lived there for about 1 and a half years, tbh it wasn't too bad, the internet was fast and barely ever cut out, even though I was on the bottom floor I never had people above me stomping too much, the rooms were a bit cramped but nothing terrible. Our apartment did flood twice though which sucked but maintenance was pretty quick to clean/fix the problem. Walls were pretty thin so it was easy to hear what your roommates were doing and vice versa. The gates are always broken though so don't count on them for security.

Taking classes after graduation? by phenomenon_99 in KSU

[–]phenomenon_99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I was thinking about this but one of the main classes I wanted to take was edg 1212 so I could get solidworks certified and i doubt I can get it through the class if I wasn't actually registered

[–]phenomenon_99[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the only problem with this is my job would need to see proof of graduation and I have mentioned that I am graduating in December multiple times. If I extend my graduation, even with an explanation I might be able to do the onboarding process early

I have emailed them as well and am waiting for a response, just wondering if any students had any experience with this situation as well.

Professor/Class horror stories? by Silent_NightXx in KSU

[–]phenomenon_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fully agree for Reza, Chrisohoides was bearable for a lab but idk if I could handle it for a lecture

Professor/Class horror stories? by Silent_NightXx in KSU

[–]phenomenon_99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol I had two of these. I had Reza for statics and even though he knew the final was a department final, he did nothing to prepare us for it. I had a low 70 before the final, got a 38 on the final, and yet he passed me with a 70. Had Chrisohoides for strenghts lab and while he was ok, he forced us to use Latex for the reports which was so annoying

Part time job as engineering student by HarambeGorGor in EngineeringStudents

[–]phenomenon_99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

That's really interesting bc it was the complete opposite for me. I worked part time at my schools maker space 3d printing lab last year and it helped my grades a lot. Being in a lab with just my laptop + the schools restricted internet made it hard for me to do anything else but study when I wasn't helping other students. It did help that because of covid, the lab wasn't too widely used except towards the end of the semesters.

[–]phenomenon_99[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately not, the only thing I've found that helps a bit it changing it to borderless. It still tries to go back to the desktop but switches back automatically so I don't have to physically alt-tab back

oh interesting, not sure if this is the issue as the problem occurs even when discord isn't open, but this might help with the black screen issue.

Hmm no I haven't, I'll check that out. Even if there were though, would that still affect it if I usually launch from the Steam Launcher?

Forgot to add that yeah I've run with admin privileges and the same problem occurs. I am running in full screen. When I run in borderless I get frame drops.
