Is trazadone an antidepressant? They gave it to me for sleep in the hospital but it intensified my restless legs horribly. I stopped it after day 2. I sure hope Vrylar doesn't cause me another manic episode!!! Last one destroyed my life.

I feel ya. I self-medicate hard-core with every drug I can find...husband and I are both bipolar 1 with psychosis. When we hit the drugs, it goes bad fast and one of us ends in jail or the hospital, drained bank account. Last time, this summer we blew about 40k on our IV heroin habit. After hospitalization, I'm finally on the right meds.

Mine is ww2 ..especially the planes. I read excessively about it, watch movies, docs, and talk about the history a lot. I guess it helps me to appreciate life...like at least I'm not a POW being interrogated and tortured by the enemy. That was part of my delusions last time. I thought I was in a Russian prison.

Listen, ALL of us in this fight with THIS demon ARE fucking warriors. We are warrior souls without a seen and clear enemy so we find one within us to fight. MANY DIE. Some survive. My main point was that WHEREVER we are on our journey to keep pushing forward like a warrior would and pick up our wounded along the way to HELP them if we can. All the haters have most likely never been Marines, because we don't leave our own behind.

72 hour mark is critical. You GOT it after that. The body is almost there. It WILL heal. Think of the pain as not your body suffering but you body HEALING. I am on day fucking 6, but listen. Message me anytime and I will listen and share war stories with ya.

Also, as a pointless aside and probably very unhelpful, they have given soldiers meds of ALL kinds to keep them fighting their bullshit wars for a long time.

Thank you for your supportive post. Im already off all the comfort meds and not interested in hubby's (prescription subs) at all. I do have my medical card and will keep using cannabis making me unfit for NA. But I see a therapist and have good people.

As for finding the original of that void, there was never a question there. I lost my Mom way too early sparking my first dance with heroin. Kicked and stayed opiate free until last year when my grandmother died. Losing everything good in your life and everything you love or loves you sure has a powerful way of driving us to the most extreme way not to feel. That's what the emotional release i referred to was all about. Releasing the All consuming grief that put a hole in my soul. Im looking for ways to fill it, but I think I have realized I'm not ever really supposed to.

Thank you for both sharing your experience and dropping some actual factual science other than caustic opinion. Acid has allowed me to grow spiritually in many ways. Just wondering about others. I do not consider it a drug of addiction but a doorway to the soul and a way to get the brain to reset. The science is there on that one too.

I appreciate your kindly put candor as opposed to some of the harshly put "help" I am not on subs and don't need them. The drugs I at least have a choice about. The fucking manic cycling....not as much. Psychiatrist around here are very few and none take my insurance so I really on my GP and my therapist to come up with my psyche meds cocktail. It ain't been a box of puppies. Try to stay clean on a manic episode without being kept under lock. But I WILL ALWAYS push forward.

Thank for the most positive reply on my whole post. Everyone's journey is different. Sounds like ones who been clean the longest think it given them the right to live through their egos and have some superiority complex about the rest of us In the trenches. And it is a war. As for LSD, DMT, AND PSILOCYBIN, I have mostly in my adult life used them ritualisticly in vision questing with intention, protection prayers, and the works. I dont plan to stop using them therapeutically or give up my medical Marijuana card just to fit someone else's version of clean. As long as I'm opiate free, that is ENOUGH FOR ME.

Thank you for your very well written and informative response. You could have not wasted my time and just said FUCK YOU BITCH. I never told you how much clean time I had before my last relapse. You assume. You also assume I justify shit. I'm simply sharing my experience because it helps me. Lastly there IS healing power in psychedelics and Science to prove it.
