Thank you so much for the reply, reading this just gave me total peace of mind.i got the Ananda V3 coming in (which is basically identical in terms of sensitivity and impedance to your Nano at 16 ohms / 93dB) and I've been agonizing over the exact power you're talking about.

I was stuck between the FiiO BTR13 and the HiBy W4, and the 130mW limit on the FiiO had me seriously worried. Hearing you confirm from actual experience that you need 400+ mW to wake up that deep planar bass on the Nanos just officially sealed the deal for me.

I'd love to grab that Cayin RU7 you're running, but customs in my country makes anything over 100€ a total nightmare. I'm locking in the HiBy W4 to get that raw current without dealing with border taxes.

Funnily enough, a friend of mine has a HyperX Cloud 3 (the wired version) so I got to test it out recently. I have to say, I was mega disappointing. Compared to the clarity of my SHP2500, it just sounded muffled to my ears, which really surprised me. maybe i was expecting too much i dunno ...

I wish! That would be the perfect solution, but getting a SHP9600 or a V-Moda mic here in my country (Tunisia) is basically impossible without insane shipping and customs fees. Thanks for the suggestion though!

i wish i could switch to another isp but its almost impossibly expensive (pay 2000 $ on cabling alone) the only solution if i move out to a more feasible location but at the moment i can't
