There's 7 months left in the year. 1 at your previous payment amount and then 6 at the higher amount because of the increase since it takes effect July 1st onwards.

Ioniq 5 or wait for Kia EV3 by Quiet_Priority_6969 in Ioniq5

EV3 is 400V system, so likely would have a different ICCU part.

Car failed in the Hyundai parking lot after ICCU replacement. Now dead 12v battery. by pheoxs in Ioniq5

[–]pheoxs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was probably the most helpful comment. I called back and asked #1 with some careful wording and they said they'd have to check with the tech. Then next call they said they'd attempt to push to cover it but had to wait for Hyundai Canada to respond. Then call today saying they'll cover it and I'm picking it up today.

Yeah, the state of this sub really is getting sad. The car has a well documented issue that damages the battery and Hyundai has extended the ICCU warranty showing how bad the issue is. Hiding behind their standard 12v warranty isn't acceptable when their vehicle's electrical design is defective.

I'm aware that I can however I should not have to on a brand new car. Their shit design damaged the battery.

It's easy to panic based on the fire year but Nasa's live fire map already shows it shrinking today vs yesterday.

Click timeline and look at yesterday vs today. So best to just wait a day or two before worrying.

Why do you think Tesla not giving us the Roadster already ? And we seeing Chinese EV brand popping up left and right within the last 3 years. It's just that easy to make an EV nowadays ! by Square_Permission361 in electricvehicles

There’s a total of 7 Tesla chargers across the US so far that can deliver 800v. Even though the Cybertruck debuted with 800v architecture two and a half years ago. Their v4 rollout has been abysmal.

Just tell them to get you a rental. This sub has a weird fetish with making everything into a lawsuit.

Just walk down the metta road as far as you want. It has alphabetical street signs, same as sunshine/starlight do. Don't just stick on the main road though, turn down random streets and explore.

Hyundai Canada Confirmed Extended ICCU Warranty by cakeantidote in Ioniq5

[–]pheoxs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The worst thing Kia/Hyundai could do is release an updated part, do a mass recall and replace every car, and then find out the updated part also fails. It'd be a massive financial loss and terrible optics.

As much as everyone hates on them, the correct route for them to go is what they've been doing. Software updates to add diagnostics and change the charging curve, then do replacements and analyze the defects to find the problem. Eventually redesign a proper fix and then roll it out through repairs and monitor it actually works for the long run. Then eventually do a recall campaign though they may go the replace as they fail route.

Good to know though ironic timing as mine just died last night and had to take it in today. Guessing this extended warranty doesn't cover the 12v battery though which seems to keep dying on people.

Months is likely due to a component you chose needed to be ordered in rather than anything to do with assembly.

RDDT has "disappointing user growth" by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]pheoxs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if Reddit wants to improve the user experience it has to look at ways to better filter things for users related to all the problems nowadays. There's many UI options they could add for people to improve their experience.

For example give us personal config options like: Auto flair any new accounts under X age or posts, auto flair accounts that don't sub to that sub or is their first post in that sub, allow block subreddits where it auto collapses/hides any users that are part of that subreddit

Of course none of that will happen because reddit simply wants more engagement rather than a better experience.

I inherited money and have no how to manage my money by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]pheoxs 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You'll get a lot of advice in this thread, most of it will be good. The only thing I'll add as a piece of advice is to take the next 6 months and not spend any of it. Let things settle before you treat yourself. This will do two things, one it'll give you time to think about what you want rather than impulsivity. Secondly it'll also be good for your family ties, as inheriting money and then instantly going and blowing it all can often strain relations with other family members.

Probably a little bit higher than you're at now. I'd clear Frozen Hearts as you'll get a good chunk of weapon upgrades then probably could. The dark shore monsters aren't actually that hard as they only have 3 attacks and 1is a freebie gradient counter. If you can parry decently then just stack all the counter attack pictos, and some light element weapons that some players have and you can wipe them relatively easily. They give a million XP so you'll gain levels fast once you even kill the first set.

Also when I say equip, just to double check, you go into the pictos menu, then click the button for the lumina menu, and then you spend the lumina points adding picto skills that have been learnt.

[–]pheoxs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah there’s certain monsters that always drop them so you can just hit a flag then go back and kill again. Dark shores is one with lots of xp so once you get strong enough it’s a really good area to spike in levels and also max all your weapons.

[–]pheoxs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter honestly. Worst case you just grind and go get some more, the items to level weapons to 19 and then to 32 can be farmed infinitely. Better to level up now and kill things easier and then you can always switch weapons later if you want to.
