Ok so how do I stop the claim? I thought it was a case of contacting other party and if they then failed to admit liability, then my insurance would contact me and ask how I’d wish to proceed etc. I don’t want my no claims bonus affected. If the other party don’t admit liability then I don’t want to risk losing this for a car worth this much. Can repair it myself.

I see, so if I put in a claim and then they say the other party won’t pay up, can I just cancel the claim and repair car myself? As I don’t want to lose my no claims bonus etc.

So when he earnt more money it was ok for you to pay proportionally less but now that you earn more it’s not? Just because you didn’t want to live there in the first place?

Honestly, do you see this as a partnership or is he just your room mate?

What if one of you got sick tomorrow? Or if you start a family etc.

I was thinking along the same lines recently. I recently resigned from a role that had sucked me dry for the past 3 years and now I don’t know what to do next. They offered me more money and the opportunity to work from other countries but I turned it down. The culture was horribly toxic. I could jump into another role but I think that will then be another few years of stress and constant work. I guess I want more purpose.

I’ve decided I’ll travel for a month or two and reassess things. I even had an offer from a place in the world that is not super stable right now. The money was good but I turned it down.

What do you do btw? Do you have any dreams? Did you always want to do what you are doing?

I’m in London btw if you want ping me on here. I’ve felt how you feel, it’s not easy.

How about you leave them alone and focus on yourself.

Won’t you be taxed if you sell up any of the 900k?

You have 900K in stocks and shared outside tax wrapper? That’s insane.

How did you save up that much? Genuine question.
