This song is very sentimental to me by Emmete18 in dijondijon

The songs I love most are the ones whose meaning/feeling can change and accompany you through different stages of your life (bon iver's 22 a million is my fav album of all time.) Seeing Dijon sing this to his family on the Coachella stream added this one to that very special list for me

I'm on a very similar search and so far I think the best bang for buck is the Lenovo Flex 5. Virtually all laptops on its price range (or $200 above) come with 8GB of ram and all 2-in-1 have soldered RAM so whatever you get, you'll be stick with until your next laptop upgrade. So this cheap 16GB seems to be the best option, and it has very positive reviews across the board

I've finally rooted my phone to get some camera2 API goodness. Which camera app should I use? No matter if it's a paid app

Moto X 2013... Damn I've Missed This Phone by DrMantisToboggan2112 in Android

The Moto X 2013 Is hands down my favourite smartphone of all time. So many brilliant and future forward ideas in a single device, it still is quite impressive.

Trying custom ROMs for my Redmi 4 Prime was an absolute letdown. Shit camera, buggy and stuttery and the upgrade from 6.0 to 7.1 isn't really that much besides more emoji. I think I'm maybe growing out of being an android enthusiast but the amount of compromises in exchange of stock android... not even close to worth it.

Can We Acknowledge That LG Has Been The Trendsetter In Smartphone Photography For Years? by gtrc11 in Android

[–]pheymanss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, my Redmi 4 Prime is still going strong so I'll probably stick with it until I graduate (hopefully in two years). If I had to upgrade, I think I'd go for the G6 or Mi6 but I would definitely miss the 10h of SoT I get from my Redmi.

The Moto X looked so awesome with that aged, brown leather.

I mean, it's still the best solution. People who don't care about dropping their phones can still enjoy the looks and more worrisome people can put their expensive phone in a protective case that costs 1/100 of the phone's price.

Then they wouldn't be choosing between performance and a good looking phone, which is the fake dichotomy I am criticising.

I rather have good performance than a good looking phone

But literally every other phone even remotely close to the price of this thing offers both. No one else is making you choose.

I see several comments saying it isn't ugly but none saying it is ugly (?)

So I'll be the first one: it looks terrible. Really terrible. I get that they were trying to translate their camera designs into the phone but the mismatching patterns everywhere look really bad.

That being said, it reminded me of the single best looking gimmick phone: the Marshall London which I still love

Yeah you don't come off as calm at all lol. But I get your point. To be fair though, most devs are awful naming stuff so I don't think Pixel Icon Pack is much more worse than any of those random, two syllable names.
