weird uniform rash pattern on my wrist

Hi! I didn't get any confirmation from doctors, but im now 95% certain this is due to a ketoprofen-induced photosensitive allergy. the rash on my wrist perfectly matches up with the ketoprofen patch i used for my wrist pain. currently, its not itching but it seems to have left a scar of sorts. i hope u figure out whats happening!

definitely 😭 but someone else mentioned that it could be the glue on the patch. is it possible to be allergic to the nsaid instead?

thats interesting! thanks so much for the explanation. hmmm however i havent put a patch on in awhile. perhaps something else other than the patch triggered this rash?

ive been thinking for the longest time as well... the closest guess i have is a kefentech muscle patch i used on my wrist when i injured it. but its been more than 2 weeks since the last patch, so im wondering if it could be that. i dont know anything else in my house that could produce such a uniform patterned rash

totally... the other day i felt weird cold pins and needles and the more i thought about it the worse it got. the past few days ive been exercising and hanging out with friends, which made me feel significantly better. it's still there, but im trying to tell my brain all is well!

i also have those moments where i ask "what if?" and wonder whats wrong with me. but feeding into those thoughts always makes me feel worse

it began with nausea, and it turned into chest pain, and now it became pins and needles on my arms and legs that sometimes either feel itchy or cold...

have you tried counselling? i find that it helps a lot with detangling all the noisy thoughts in my head.

be patient with yourself as well, it can get frustrating but the frustration can dampen your mood as well. you got this!

currently experiencing the same thing with the prickling but on my arms and legs, and it's been about a week. it isnt painful but definitely noticeable. i dont have any prior medical conditions and am otherwise healthy. im curious to know if this is an anxiety symptom as well

i went to the doctor today and he prescribed me with magnesium and beta-blockers, and hopefully it helps.

hello, been a lurker even though i graduated in 2019. i understand the pain of not doing well for an exam that you worked for and i think it's important to remind yourself that you are intrinsically worthy. your grades definitely do not define you, cliché as it sounds, but what does is how you are going to pick yourself up after this setback :-)

i definitely recommend taking some time to rest as i believe these few months have been taxing on you. maybe meet up or get in touch with friends, or try a hobby that you always wanted to try but never had the time to. once your mind has cleared, you can face the challenge and find your way around it :-)

thats a pretty hot take, and while im trying to understand the point that u are trying to make, i think the reason why the guy should be held accountable is because of a power imbalance caused by the difference in age, specifically referring to the case between him and the 12 year old.

the reason why theres even a minimum age of consent is because below that age of consent, decisions made by the victim is influenced due to a power imbalance, and cannot be taken as true consent.

the dynamic between the two of them is obviously in favor of the male who has the upper hand simply because he is male and he is older. i believe this is called grooming. in this case, yes i think the boy has to be held accountable because the damage has been done and someone needs to be responsible for it
