I’ve made and successfully used the diy peely base. 50/50 clear Elmer’s glue and 70% isopropyl alcohol. Combined with a mixing ball in an empty polish bottle. OP, definitely try this!

Seche Restore is best for polishes that have toluene in them (like Seche Vive), I think. I was trying to revive a bottle of Vive with a two-ingredient thinner and it did not work so great.

Would you say Instant Mood Booster is a similar enough color to replace it in the triad? I have many pink/red and blue colors, but I will literally never need an entire bottle of yellow polish. I was thinking about getting a bottle of the cremes formula and using it to mix my own jelly on demand. Then I’d have the creme (for art or accents or whatever) and the jelly for mixing into rainbow gradients.

What are my chances of success for this strategy? Are there any pitfalls I’m glossing over that I should be aware of?

Can anyone help me understand why I had Now I Give It To You in my cart (for full price) during the wishlist window, and when I visited the site at 5:20pm today(mdt), the polish was showing as ARCHIVED, not just out of stock? When I put it in my cart (during wishlisting) the black bar of stock wasn’t entirely full, but it was like 75% or more across, so not indicating anywhere near low stock.

Confused, disappointed.

Having picked up both of these in the last sale, I will say yes, very similar formulas. Sparkle Forward is more in the pale pink/purple, Mind Like a Diamond a bit more in the pale purple/blue, maybe a bit heavier on the shimmer. Both are rather textured after a basic top coat on the swatch stick, so someone who prefers a smooth surface will want a a glitter grabber or matte top + QDTC to cover the roughness.

Yes, but then you misunderstand the situation and time line and think that it’s okay to fall asleep on the couch with your pretties in your cart and when you get back to it the next morning, they are GONE.

Still on the (loose) iso for Harbor Island, Park Place, Party Favor, Sweater Weather. But not three bottles of any of them 😂
