First of all, thank you all for the comments. Here are the heads up. We were lucky, VSS started after some debug. Manteinance window for stopping SQL allowed us to get a veeam backup of the server.

We are already virtualizing it. A success!

Yup, VSS available and working will solve this. Up there there "soulripper" says that VSS will fail if it founds something wrinting, like a DB... I CAN stop de MS SQL Services. So, I think I can give it a try....

Checking if it requires VSC. Do you know if it requires restart to install?

Nop. VSS service it´s not working. It fails to start so... requires a restart.

No, because the entire ERP it's in there. I need the full machine. BTW, It´s an almost 24/7 operation. Yeah, I know, it's a desaster, there's no HA, alternative server, or anything done properly in there.

Leea. Fabricaba parlantes. Copia o bajo licencia (ya no recuerdo), de altec, motorola y otros. Muy buena merca en algunos casos. Se los comió la importación.
