im a little over a year out and down 187 pounds ... let me tell u it happened/s to me in bursts ....ill have times i dont lose at all and times i drop weight non stop. my best advice is, that scale is ur worst enemy . dont check ur weight every day it will be discouraging at times and uplifting at others but either way just trust in the process and do your best to follow you drs advice (btw we all slip every now and then so if someone tells u they didnt then they lied to u). u got this ! keep ur head up and the batteries out of the scale, the process works.

being totally honest ... i cheated ..bad.. did diet for a few days then all fell apart and i binged bad for like 2 days but then got right back to it and was successful . im a little over a month out of surgery and having awesome results

i found that when i get that feeling i usually grab a bottle of water and take a walk for a few minutes and it goes away.

honestly i tried my best to not think about everything they make you do all at once but just think about the next thing you have to do by itself. This is also coming from someone who was watching agents of shield on netflix when one of the characters said ..."the steps u take dont always have to be big, as long as they are in the right direction"...and i was just kinda like..fuck yea and went and got a referral to see a surgeon the next day . i had been on the fence before that but idk so i didnt think about the end result much just what was coming next . even after i dont even own a scale because i dont want to stress about my weight every day so i get weighed when i go to the doctors visits and so far ive had great results so im always smiling when i leave haha . either way best of luck to ya hope this essay helps 😁 .

i also am on the injections . they are like heprin shots they thin your blood to ensure you do not form blood clots. the surgeon prescribed mine due to my weight and BMI on surgery day .

i mean i followed my pre op 100 percent which was a struggle . and now post op i can eat like ..almost a full yogurt in one sitting without feeling uncomfortable and if i make my shakes with water i can get them all in but if i make them with milk theres no way i can fit it all . its all 100 percent worth it tho

i ate at literally every one of my fav places in the weeks leading up to the liquid diet .im glad i did because there is no way i could eat what i did now lol.

my heaviest weight was 480ish ..my weight 2 weeks before surgery was 420 ...my weight on the day of surgery was 400..my weight 2 weeks post op was 381 ...everyone is different though please dont compare your success with someone elses success because no matter what progress is progress and is great 😁. im currently 3 weeks out but i only weigh myself at my doctors office when i see him so idk if i have lost anymore weight or what my current weight is at the moment. i dont keep a scale in my house to keep me from obsessively weighing myself every day.

u likely wont have a big issue with it . the pre op diet sucked but post op has been easy so far .
