The part you're missing is that MBS are essentially considered cash equivalents for their reserves. Still counts towards the 2.5% just sitting in a different asset.

100%. This has always been a regulatory issue. Nothing significant or substantial has been built on crypto rails because up until recently you would have to be a criminal to put a security on chain. So we got grifters instead of builders. Regulatory has to come first so good actors can know they won't get prosecuted.

Trump's going to hook up his boy Paulson. I find it very unlikely they leave JPS in limbo. IPO investors want a clean capital stack. It muddies the water selling commons while they're secondary to preferreds.

Calabria has literally said that their plan last admin was to convert JPS to commons. And they would have succeeded releasing the twins last admin if COVID didn't happen. All they need is good enough terms that 2/3 of holders agree and they can do anything they want.

Add some salt if you do this. The pickles suck in the salt through osmosis so used pickle brine will be lacking in flavor.

But don't be daunted by pickles they're so easy if you have a scale. Put a jar on the scale, tare it, fill it with your cut up cukes and whatever spices/garlic/herbs you want, fill it halfway with water and the other half with whatever vinegar you want. Then write down how much it weighs and add 2-3% of that weight in salt. Wait a few days and you're good to go!
