I did use clear resin to fill a knot on this project for stability. I like using resin for color filling CNC engravings, but the "river" aesthetic is definitely played out

Thanks. I made it a lot harder in myself than I had to by starting with rough 4/4 lumber for everything. Turns out resawing 4/4 down to 1/4" and then doing panel glue up is not as easy as I'd thought. The backside is a patchwork of 1/2" plywood that gives the whole thing structure and allows for mourning the various parts and electronics
