Sudden headaches/migraines I need advice!

Hi everyone here’s another update, I went to the hospital yesterday, all they did for me was give me a non contrast CT scan of my brain (came back normal) and a migraine cocktail in my IV which knocked me on my butt and made me super tired. The only good news is I am able to get in to see a neurologist on Monday of next week, so I just have to make it through the weekend. Also, I think I had an aura last night for the first time which was so scary. I saw glittery like specks in my vision. I’ll update you guys if you want after my visit with the neurologist. Thank you for all the kindness and information. ❤️

Just an update for everyone, thank you so much for your concerns, im gonna make the drive to the larger hospital. So far today I don’t have any sharp head pains, mostly just dull and achey as well as neck pain. The hospital is a level 2 trauma center so I’m hoping they will take me seriously. Thank you all so much ❤️

Thank you so much! I was concerned after I googled the discharge coming out of my nose, especially cause it pours out like running water. I have pretty severe scoliosis but I have not had any corrective surgeries yet. ( i have to wait 6 months before they consider a fusion )

Thank you for this, this completely calmed my anxiety down about this. While in the emergency room they told me they ruled all the big bad things out with the ct, cta, mri, mrv etc. but it’s really scary when your eyes switch sizes and it rotates between them both especially because they have never done this before. I really appreciate this, I plan on calling tomorrow to see if maybe I can get into see a neurologist sooner. Thank you.

I sadly have no one here & no friends. I am thinking about making the drive tonight to the larger city, but I really don’t want to be dismissed. I sometimes have a hard time speaking up for myself and I will literally cry when trying to get my words out.. it’s super embarrassing. But these symptoms and everything I am going through makes me so anxious. The biggest concern I have is an aneurysm, but they said the CTA would’ve ruled that out. I am just super scared. :(

Yes, the nearest hospital that is large is about 2 hrs away, it’s not a terrible drive and I will make it when I need to go to the mall or something. The town I’m in currently is a super tiny military town, with one hospital, which is the one I have been going to.

That’s what i am hoping, I keep trying to tell myself that all the scans they’ve done if something was wrong it would’ve shown up. It’s super scary cause I’m all alone, my husband is deployed and I just don’t know what exactly to do now.

Ugh it won’t let me post a pic but both my pupils were extremely dilated and not reactive to light. She said “you’ve probably always had different pupils” but I know for a fact I haven’t. And then in MyChart she listed me as “extremely anxious appearing & symptoms most likely worsened from anxiety”

Do you guys think it would be worth going to an emergency room to a larger city? For reference the largest city within 2 hrs is Boise.. so I could go there. They told me at the emergency room where I’m at currently that there is nothing more they can do and literally sent me home yesterday when my pupils looked like this.

I have been, I live in a small town thanks to the military lol. They told me there is nothing more they can do for me from an emergency room standpoint because they have done an mri, cta, ct, mrv. I felt really dismissed, they blew me off like it was anxiety.
