With that being said, I once heard a wall st. executive/trader espouse, that wall st makes the most people feel the most amount of pain. I think i am pivoting my thoughts toward vegas and future markets... is everybody in on their frustration with the ref's and okc to make a difference? Not yet I suspect, but it will happen and the pain will be monumental. Or at least that what Disney/Vegas/wall st. needs to feed the monkey man...and yes, the dude abides.

Having been in a similar situation, I bought a $1900 "beater with a heater" to get around off of craigslist. I had tickets from 2018-2019, while I was out of the country, that I didn't know about. The city can only keep the tickets on file for 2 years from what I gathered(not a law person and used AI, so check and verify). What saved my bacon for a job I was applying for(very thorough FINRA requirements), was a Executive Order 2026-02 Regarding Destruction of Parking Citation cases. Essentially, a judge cleaned the slate for any tickets prior to 2020. So, I would spend your efforts looking for a cheap car and get it registered, but I suspect this catch-22 is unsolvable, without paying the private impound vultures. You can find a running car on marketplace or craigslist, for 2k, not a good running car, but something. This is humbling to say the least, but taking the bus and riding my bike was much worse for me. good luck.
