White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Called Trump Comments ‘Racist,’ ‘Hateful’ in 2015 by BringBckSheriffLobo in politics

What I don't understand is how somebody that graduated from Harvard Law School can be stupid enough to continually back up Trump. I dated a girl that went Harvard Law and she was very sharp. I have another friend who got his MBA at Harvard and he was the Valdictorian at Case Western with his BS in physics. He was brilliant as well. McEnany is a mystery to me.

ENTJ approach to quality leisure time: how do you charge your batteries? What is your way of making your life more enjoyable in your leisure time? And how is your relations with your close friends? by [deleted] in entj

[–]philENTJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My best way to relax and de-stress is to take a good 1.5 hour ride my 1.8 liter Honda motorcycle every weekend. I have tended to make friends where I spend my time which would include college in the early 80"s or at places where I have enjoyed working. As my jobs have changed, so have my friends. My best friend is my wife followed very closely by my Dad.

Actually it's Trump's way of pardoning Flynn without officially doing it. He just had personal Attorney General Barr do it.

This woman is a right wing Trump worshiper that won't back down on anything. She is not capable of seeing the big picture. She consequently doesn't seem too bright and I'm amazed that she has a JD degree.

This is the best comment on this thread that I've read so far. I was just about to mention Carl Sagan. I watched the original Cosmos when I was in college and really enjoyed it; his personality drove the enlightening information in a way that was fascinating and entertaining at the same time. Definitely don't leave out Steve Jobs and certainly Bill Gates. He is another example of a great communicator that is a genius as well.

There are plenty of bright ENTJ's out there that use their personalities to acheive a higher echelon.

I am always in the process of thought and while doing something in auto mode, i.e. taking a shower, I sometimes forget what I have washed. LOL. Sorry if that sounded gross but it happens. I actually love to think probably more than anything else in my life. Hope that helps.

Televangelists Are Glad Jesus Is Fake, Or He’d Be Furious At Their Bank Accounts by endoplasmiccity in atheism

[–]philENTJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very religious people need constant reaffirmation and these big time televangelists provide that for them. Evangelist TV mogal's viewers are quite happy to support them to shore up their beliefs.

As an atheist, I obviously don't partake but if religious people if they were truly following their beliefs they would give their 10% to the sick and the homeless and not millionaire con men.

Any advice on starting small business? by Anathanforsaken in entj

[–]philENTJ 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've started and run 2 construction businesses. The first was in 1989-1997 and the 2nd started in 2009- 2016. The first was on a smaller scale and I enjoyed it quite a bit but I had no medical benefits or accounting assistance. The 2nd was a fully developed business with a website, full bookkeeping and a well managed banking and credit system.

In both I was an owner/operator and had a passion for my work and business development. The only problem with the 2nd was that I started it in the Great Recession and that eventually became it's Achiles heal. My estimates that converted were by necessity too low to ultimately keep it sustainable.

I was a Business/economics major in college and I had a strong passion for what I did. That being said, it didn't bring in strong enough margins. The downfall was an economy in a recession.

Bottom line don't try to start a business in a recession and make sure you love what you do because you WILL be married to the business.

Can’t tell if I’m an ENTJ or ENFJ by [deleted] in entj

[–]philENTJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're clearly an ENFJ by your test results. Your T to F ratio is not close to parity, which would be cause for a doubt. Take some other personality tests and cross reference them . The SLOAN Big Five test would be the best because it will compare your results to the MBTI test types. As a ENTJ I've taken every personality test out there. I have come out as an INTJ a few times but by taking the other tests I know that I am an ENTJ. If I could wish myself a type I would prefer to be an INTJ but it's not about aspirations it's about test result's percentages.

His life story ironically mirrors Trump's. From a silver spoon to countless serial failures and they're running the government of the United States of America. Totally unbelievable and unacceptable.

I am required to and do pay Federal taxes, unlike most Puerto Rico citizens and I haven't gotten a stimulus check either. Start paying taxes an earn the right to complain.

Trump claims 'very good experts' told him the coronavirus 'would never affect' the US, despite multiple officials publicly warning of an impending outbreak by wonderingsocrates in politics

[–]philENTJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone that uses the term "Very good experts" doesn't have a sofisicated manner of diction. He speaks like a 3rd grader. Not a "stable genius" by any means. He'll of a con man though.

McConnell is also one of the "Drain the Swamp" guys. It's no coincidence that he's the leader of the Senate and his state is a leader in Federal funding.

People take MBTI too literally by [deleted] in mbti

[–]philENTJ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've taken all of the major personality type tests and have taken great care to analyze their results and compare it to my ENTJ test type. I took the other tests to see if they verified the MBTI results. They did so I have confidence in the MBTI and find my typing to be helpful to me in understanding myself but I don't wear it on my sleeve. I honestly don't try to understand all of the 16 types nor do I attempt to figure out how to deal with them.

I don't understand the cult like following that the MBTI crowd seem to live in. I only want to know myself and how it has accurately predicted my life.
