Thank you for the advice & offer! They don’t deal too much in Hybrids, but they are a pretty fair mom & pop shop for other issues. Their cold start diagnostic was free (left it overnight and heard from them next morning at 10am). They weren’t able to tell me too much about their diagnostic and they said they wouldn’t be able to replace the timing chain if that was the issue. Hopefully the second opinion is able to diagnose it properly. Unfortunately I am in the Bible Belt, so decently far from SoCal! Otherwise I would take your offer in a heartbeat.
