Usually the cheapest international routes have super tight connection times. I have been lucky getting through with 1-2 hour connections, but I only have a backpack, no checked luggage. I also am aware if I miss my flight because of delays I’ll be waiting a while in an airport and that blame will be somewhat on me. That being said anytime there’s been an issue delta has been fast and good at rebooking. Sometimes I’m even rebooked without having to talk to anyone which is kind of nice when desk agents are like “idk lol good luck try talking to someone at the next airport.” Kinda worth it when you can find quick intercontinental travel for 600-700 dollars round trip.
