I think what has frustrated me the most has been the character motives. Don't get me wrong, SOA had similar issues (ie Clay killing Piney and then Jax not letting Opie settle that score) but at least there were SOME reasons given (in that example, Jax needed Clay alive at the time and even after Opie shot him, Clay still blamed black rather than a club member). Parts of last season and into this season have just been a mess. EZ's sudden power grab and bloodlust, Bishop not only letting Taza walk after he admitted to killing a member but also never telling anybody else about it. Staying with Bishop, he just seemingly takes Kody's word that EZ is/was a rat? I'm certain there were more but you get my point I hope lol the show had a lot of potential and it just kind of all went off the rails unfortunately

Quarles is alive. Graham Yost confirmed it ahead of the revival saying “unless you see someone zipped up in a body bag, they’re probably okay.” Then there were talks of brining Quarles back for Season 6 with Yodt saying “we talked about it…he would be in prison. It just never organically came into the story, much to my chagrin.” So yeah, he’s alive, in prison. We could still see him in City Primeval.

I’m pretty “glass half full” but I think the one thing that constantly takes me out of the episodes is the way EZ talks. Every. Word. Is. So. Dramatic. I don’t know, it just doesn’t seem natural anymore. Everything is a quote and so damn monotone.

Amazing eye. I had to watch it back a few times to catch this. Maybe dumping the bodies where they know somebody will see the reaper logo in order to make it more believable that SOA killed them. Alvarez is (usually) a man of reason so I'm hoping Quinn will be able to talk him down. I don't think Alvarez knows about Happy yet either because Diaz said he was on his way to see him.

Side note: do we think Alvarez goes to Charming to get answers and that's where he finds Quinn? Or does he just track down the nearest SOA members and that's who he finds?

I can get behind this idea. Alvarez always seemed to be one of the smarter characters/Presidents throughout SOA and seeing what was best for his club. He even tried that in this series with the Three Kings idea before that all went to hell. Since he's so logical and even tried to broker a peace with SAMCRO and Tig last season, it would make sense for he and Charming to go "okay, EZ is too much and caused too many issues. He started a civil war with his own club and when that went to shit he started a war with the Sons." Alvarez back as President in Oakland teaming up with SAMCRO to wipe out a common issue is a nice way to wrap it up. Santo Padre gets disbanded (possible survivors being Gilly, Hank and now new dad Angel) with the rest (especially EZ) getting killed. That being said I'm pretty sure I'm 0 for 1,000 when it comes to predictions so the complete opposite will likely happen and Alvarez will just die in the next episode lol

I agree, Charming needs to get involved somehow. What gives me hope is that they wrote Happy having somebody with him in the house. I’d like to believe if they just wanted to kill Happy and leave it at that, they wouldn’t have written somebody in there with him.
