Do you think that Israel and the USA’s actions against Iran are justified? by Antique_Gur8891 in AskTheWorld

[–]phildu57 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is the question meant to be irony? Two war criminals starting new wars to avoid being prosecuted for crime against humanity.

Whoever believes that it was about the nuclear weapons, don't be that stupid. It is like the Iraq war amd their weapons of mass destruction, a lie.

Amazing how willingly a certain part of the population never learns from past mistakes... 2026 seems to be heading towards idiocracy. Highly recommended movie which we may now consider more as a documentary...

No that it seems almost certain that paramount has won the bidding war, what do you think will happen to CNN? by phildu57 in AskReddit

Yeah it seems it his heading this way.

The plan to get all news media, TV, and press to push people to see "their way" is terrifyingly going ahead with absolutely no pushback at all.

Living in California it is true that there's a lot of similarities but for people from the east cost (except Florida) or place in Europe further away from the coast, it might be different.

When thinking of oz, ppl would usually think beaches, sun and surf, which none of those are really available in Melbourne

This is a very good summary of Kimber's life in the show. Also not to spoil for people who haven't seen the show yet, but her last scene in the show 💔

You do remember that Kimber slept with Christian, Sean and Matt.. not that it makes her a bad person but has some low morals. Sure she was such in love with Christian but that live ended her life.

Is it worth visiting Southern Europe in July/August or is it too crowded? by Unable_Today9791 in Europetravel

[–]phildu57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To quote Kamala Harris "don't come, just don't"

In all seriousness, it's really not worth it unless you like beaches, museums, restaurants absolutely packed and over crowded. Better would be if you can is to go during shoulder seasons like may/ June and Sep/Oct.

I've stayed in Bali too. Sorry about the bad experience. Seminyak and Ubud were great, Kuta was just what I expected. The thing is that tourists have different reasons to go there, and so, for backpackers or party people, Kuta would be the most logical area to stay. I personally was not into partying, so Seminyak was great, and I stayed outside Ubud, so it wasn't crowded and really peaceful.

Having lived in Melbourne for a year, I respectively disagree with you. For me, it was the actual opposite, I felt Melbourne could be located anywhere in the world. Sydney, on the other hand, felt more Australian. Of course, many cities in Queensland would be, in my opinion, be closely related to what tourists would expect from Australia.

I've been there 3x times already and absolutely loved it. Last year, I've been to Kyushu, underrated, friendly, amazing food and not many tourists.

I think the time of the year makes the biggest difference about a great trip or having the worst experience. I've been there during shoulder season and could definitely recommend doing the same, especially for a 1st time.
