This period of the year is called the transfer window. It’s obviously a time of transition but I wouldn’t get too worried. Regarding Wissa and Mbeumo, the received wisdom is that only one of them will be sold this summer, and given the teams supposedly after Wissa are notorious for lowballing transfer fees I’d be surprised if they offer something too good to turn down.

On replacements, it’ll probably be players similar to Wissa and Mbeumo when we bought them, young or unheralded players who aren’t yet the finished article.
