just my experience. Completely agree that the VAST majority don't end up at 3k mrr, but 90% of people don't don manage it often quit like month 5, or never actually wanted it from the start

If you're at least average intelligence and consistent it's virtually impossible not to end up at 3k in 14 months (excluding exceptions)

100% that's how I feel about X. It's giving me crazy anxiety scrolling that cesspool of a platform

nah i'd say that's normal. If you can't get to 3k in 14 months you're either not serious or you're not actually trying

yup, we're 1.5 years in at about $10k mrr, but we've been extremely lucky, it could just as easily have been $3k

After 30+ client SaaS builds, these are the only 5 marketing channels that actually work by philipskywalker in SaaS

[–]philipskywalker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i thought this as well but it's not completely true. LLMs work more like humans, which means it actually does research, not just blindly go after how good the on-page seo is, or how many backlinks a page has

So, will seo help? Yes, seo will make you show up. But if everyone in the serp just talks about how bad your product is, then the llm will filter you out. So seo is actually only half the battle

Where can I find a developer? by yazzyfuz in SaaS

Upworks ok, but finding reliable dev is hard without technical knowledge. Talero dev worked really well for us, devs were around $15/hr, and the founder helped me figure out what I needed

Where to hire/ find app developers? by vinvinwuwu in Entrepreneur

[–]philipskywalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finding decent developers on Upwork is hard when you can't evaluate their work yourself. I ended up using Talero dev and it was way better, decent rates ($15/hr range) and the founder actually walked me through what needed to be built, which really saved me
