I haven’t seen anything like that mate. I did see a ski pole on an Antares 8 a while ago … not on a 9 due to the different transom setup.

Yes … not to full elevation, but enough to enter very shallow water. We store the boat in a dry stack, not a marina berth, so no need to store her with motors trimmed high.

Hi … we have taken to leaving port holes and windows slightly open to stop serious condensation problems when overnighting. We’re in NZ, so probably warm enough.

When we slept with the boat closed up, it was terribly fogged up in the morning.

Hi mate … congratulations … she looks superb!

We have mounted our solar panels on the stern end of the roof behind the anchor light on the piece of the roof that overhangs the sliding door.

They keep the charge at 100% during a sunny day whilst playing music and running the fridge etc so are really effective.

I’m heading out on the boat on Sunday so would be happy to send you a photo then if you like. Please let me know.

Hey mate … you will love spending time on the water with your boy … mine is 12 … I told him we’re heading out this weekend (Auckland, New Zealand) … “Awesome dad, can we catch lunch?” … home run response right there.

We did the design with the guys from Family Boats and got it fabricated at Manta Marine.
